Accessing Web Stats.

If your have a hosting package that provides you with Web Stats reporting abilities then you will be able to gain access to this by using http://yourdomain.tld/webstat/ (where yourdomain.tld is your website address).

This can be set up for open access or password protected access, when setting up the stats in the domain admin/ plesk panel under the setup menu for the selected domain you have an option for enabling stats under the Services section, you have a drop down menu which will select the type of stats that are collected for your domain (AWstats or Webalizer) then there is a checkbox that will password protect the stats area. once you have selected the options you want select OK to apply the changes to the account.


The webstats are updated periodically through the day and night using the data collected within the /statistics folder.

By default the /statistics folder files are purged after each web stats run, so are not retained and do not take up valuable data storage space.
